NoteSavant provides AI-powered meeting intelligence services, including but not limited to:

• Automatic meeting recording through third-party integrations
• AI-generated transcription of meetings
• Automated meeting summaries and action item extraction
• Savant Chat - AI-powered Q&A about meeting content
• Team collaboration and sharing features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Meeting Recording Consent

Important: You are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from all meeting participants before recording. This includes:

• Complying with all applicable laws regarding recording consent in your jurisdiction
• Informing participants that the meeting is being recorded
• Ensuring participants understand how their data will be used
• Respecting participants' requests not to be recorded

NoteSavant is not responsible for any legal consequences arising from unauthorized recording of meetings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Record meetings without proper consent from all participants
• Share meeting content with unauthorized individuals
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to transmit harmful or malicious content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You retain ownership of your meeting content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Subscription and Billing

7.1 Free and Paid Plans

NoteSavant offers both free and paid subscription plans. Features and usage limits vary by plan.

7.2 Payment Terms

For paid plans, you agree to pay all fees according to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor.

7.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, features, and content (excluding your meeting content), is owned by NoteSavant and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service integrates with third-party services (such as video conferencing platforms and calendar services). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service. NoteSavant is not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

AI-generated transcriptions, summaries, and insights may contain errors. You should verify important information independently.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOTESAVANT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoteSavant and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Termination
